For Visitors or People Thinking of 'doing Brighton' for a weekend...

Here's a quick over-view....
The 'gay district' tends to focus on the St. James Street area and it's side streets.
The Marlborough can be found at 4 Princes Street, very centrally, off Old Steine.
The PV is just around the corner on Edward Street (across from the Courts and Amercian Express building).
The R Bar, Charles Street , Legends and Amsterdam are all bunched together on Marine Parade, across from the pier and just up from Harry Ramsden's restaurant, so easy to find (You can't miss the rainbow flags!).
Legends is a popular after pub club with the girls, as is
'Girls On Top' each Thursday night at Revenge.
Ghetto nightclub (formerly The Candybar) gets a mixed and youngish crowd and can be found at the end of St. James Street.
If you are
in the Hove area, just off Western Road,
The Grosvenor, at Western Place has a regular girls night each month and there are also quite a few gay-friendly pubs that get their fair share of women, including The Forager, Stirling Place (which also is renowned for its locally sourced top notch pub cuisine).
The Three Graces, on Portland Road, Hove, run by Sally and her great staff is very chilled out with a good menu and nice crowd around all week, girls night once a month plus regular pub quizzes and happenings. The Ancient Mariner, on Rutland Road gets a lively mix of people with a popular menu and Sunday roasts.
PS: If you know of other womens nights and places - please tell us to add here.
